After earning her B.S. in Finance from Michigan State University, Karen started her professional journey in the banking world—developing deep expertise in lending and negotiation. In 2018, she transitioned into real estate, where her detail-oriented nature, strong listening skills, and calm professionalism have been instrumental in helping clients navigate the buying and selling process with clarity and confidence.
In 2023, she earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation, solidifying her commitment to providing expert service to homebuyers.
Based in Grand Ledge, where she has lived for over 20 years, Karen enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with her two children. Her local knowledge, financial acumen, and personal dedication make her a powerful advocate for her clients.

Before earning her license, Chardé worked for five years as a personal assistant to a real estate broker—learning firsthand the behind-the-scenes operations that make a transaction seamless. Today, she combines that operational savvy with a forward-thinking approach to marketing. She is well-versed in both print and digital promotions, ensuring every listing gets maximum exposure to the right audience.
Chardé holds a B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Leadership and Development from Loyola University Chicago. Her background gives her a unique ability to understand her clients’ needs on a deeper level and guide them with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
